My intensive editing is always done at home on my calibrated monitor, but even a primitive Photoshop-type app that would allow me to browse photos (the displays/resolution on the pocket storage devices are horrible), do some RAW conversions, and initial editing would be all I would need; even if the photo's source is a USB connected external drive which would prevent me from running over the iPad 64GB limit. Hopefully the dongles allow for USB drive connections and CF card readers. Personally I think that app developers will really try to bring photo editing especially made for the iPad user. I think that Apple distributing a USB port for transferring photos from your camera to your iPad would directly make developers make complex apps for the iPad. I loved how during the iPad presentation an Art app developer who presented an App where people can draw right on there iPad. So why not professionally edit photos on an iPad?

- DM

I want to see more pictures from this trip!! My great-grandfather was ill at Charity hospital at the turn of the 20th cent. (?) and died there. Was buried w/o his family knowledge (they were living in the Baton Rouge or Bayou Goula area). His name was Nicoli Domiano.
I will share your site with my mother b/c she says that she was told by her father that her grandfather may be in Potter's Field. Has never found out what he died of or where exactly he was buried. These options could revitalize downtown and kick start the economy with jobs, research, attracting businesses to the Bioscience Corridor and reopening the full teaching hospital - years ahead of the proposed new hospital. All of the benefits, without all the controversy and expense.
